School of Media, Music and Performance - ProgrammesThe School of Media, Music and Performance has a diverse and exciting range of programmes starting at foundation level from HND’s to BA degrees, Master degrees and PhD’s.

As a practice-driven school, we are about creative content. We create stories. We create expressions. These expressions and stories are produced in many different forms, whether it’s performance, music composition, wildlife documentary, computer and video games, animation or journalism.

This is one of the unique strengths of the School of Media, Music and Performance, the breadth and depth of our programmes that stretch across all of these forms and more.

We have recently undertaken a comprehensive curriculum review. This has enhanced the practice-based elements of our programmes and sharpened the focus on employability by encouraging students to engage in live briefs and projects.

Unrivalled learning experience

The curriculum review also means students can now work with each other across the School with clear opportunities to shape your programme with interests from other disciplines. For example, Performance students may find themselves working with somebody in Creative Media. A Journalism student may find themselves working with somebody in Music.

By restructuring and refreshing our programmes, we are able to deliver the best and most creative and distinctive education in ways that make for an unrivalled student learning experience.
