Lisa Cullen graduated from Bretton Hall in 1993 with an honours degree in Community Dance. She went on to gain a Post Graduate Diploma in Choreography and Performance at the European Dance Development Centre in Arnhem, Holland.

Before taking up her post at Salford, Lisa worked as a freelance choreographer and performer, touring in Europe and America. Since taking her post Lisa has worked as a performer/deviser with the Chameleons Project and Quisling Performance Company.

Lisa is currently Programme Leader of BA (Hons) Physical and Dance Theatre, as well as being a board member on North West Higher Education Dance Providers, and the Salford Youth Dance Strategy Group.

Lisa's specialist interests are choreography and directing styles in European Dance Theatre, and Movement for Screen.
