MMP at the University of Salford - InternationalThe School of Media, Music and Performance has established links with a global network of organisations who share common teaching, learning and research approaches .

Currently the School has a number of active partnerships, Erasmus mobility programmes and joint awards with institutions based throughout Europe, including Finland, Denmark, Germany Italy, France, Spain and Poland. 

In 2010 the Music Directorate was appointed lead institution by the EU to deliver ‘Rhythm Changes: Jazz Cultures and European Identities’, a million pound multi-partnership project bringing together several European institutions specialising in the field of Jazz and Identities.

Beyond Europe the School has developed significant partnerships in several countries including Australia, Canada, China, Columbia, Cuba, Japan and USA. These partnerships deliver a broad spectrum of projects including research and innovation, specialist consultancy, joint degree programmes, international exchange programmes for staff and students, symposia and conferences, and joint summer school programmes.

The School of Media, Music and Performance welcomes opportunities to operate at a global level and actively seeks out new partnerships to develop our reach and leadership in education, research and innovation.
